Saw mother duck lead her new babies out of the garden, think they were nesting in the corner.Wednesday – saw a hare crossing the road, as well as lots of other types of birds.

The top of the field was covered with curlews tonight. 

Tonight we found a curlew nest with 4 eggs in it whist looking the sheep.

Whilst walking round our sheep on the bottom meadow tonight we came across a duck and her ducklings.

The mayflowers are in full bloom along the lane.

Spotted 3 lapwing chicks in the field as I was walking down the lane this afternoon. Only managed to get a photograph of one of them – the other two are hiding!

One of our hens has had 4 chicks. Here they are having a stroll around the garden.

Saw a swallow this morning – the first one this year – lovely to see and hear!
